blogger tips: How to remove powered by blogger attribution from blogspot blog

On every blogspot blog we see a message POWERED BY BLOGGER.

It’s called attribution widget. I think it is not looking good. We can remove this attribution. We can do this by three ways. But blogger TOS never support to remove this.

By the way here I will share all three methods one by one.

Remember:

Before edit your template you must need to keep backup of your blog template. Another important message for you: never starts editing your blog template before read any post first to last.

Ok come to the point now >

 I have already said that we can remove powered by blogger by three ways.

1. CSS METHOD

2. Unlock method

3. HTML editing METHOD

                                                         CSS METHOD

Go to  template>edit HTML.

Now search this code  ]]></b:skin>

Now paste this code  #Attribution1 {display: none;}   

 just above ]]></b:skin>

Preview your template , if you don’t see any error then save it.

                                                         Unlock method

Go to template > edit HTML>Search this  code  <b:widget id='Attribution1' locked='true' title='' type='Attribution'/>  

now paste this code

 <b:widget id='Attribution1' locked='false' title='' type='Attribution'/> 

 instead of  that code code

Preview your template, if you don’t see any error then save it.

Now go to layout. Find attribution widget. click edit.

Now remove it by clicking remove.

At last click save arrangement.

                                                 HTML EDITING METHOD

 Go to template > edit HTML> search following code

<b:widget id='Attribution1' locked='true' title='' type='Attribution'/>

And delete those code .

Preview your template if you don’t see any error then save it.
